July 27, 2015

Well hello family. This week was probably one of the best weeks of my mission. It was filled of many things. Trials, Sealings in the temple and preparing people to be baptized. Well first off I want to say is that families can be together forever. And in this letter if I misspell the word Seeling or Sealing, I am guessing what you know what I mean. hahaha but as you all know I went to the temple this week and wow was it amazing. I always tell you guys How much I love the temple. I can feel the spirit of the Lord everytime I enter. That was really amazing and I feel like I recieved guidance for this week. Also after that we got to talk to Presidente Boswell and he gave us permision to see our pensions sealing. I was so pumped when he gave us that permision and we got to go to the temple 2 this week. The sealing was something really amazing and I could feel something so strong in my heart that this is how we should get married in this world. When I saw my pension and her husband get sealed in the temple It made me think a lot about what I need to do to prepare me to get sealed in the temple. I know without a doubt that families can be together forever. Everytime I enter the temple it gives me strength and comfort about the things that are going to happen in my life. Something that was so special is when their 11 year old son got sealed with them. He is going to be with them forever and the smile and the glow that I saw on their faces is something that I will remember forever. Haha everytime I talk about the temple it just builds me and my testimony about this church. I love the temple.

Also this week we have the baptism of Jharol. He is so awesome and he is ready to make this covenant with god. I am so exited to see him enter the baptismal font and be baptized. He has been so good and he is really trying to come closer to Christ. If all goes acording to plan he will be baptized this week. Well also Yolanda is progressing to and she came to church yesterday. I think she has planted the seed in her heart and I believe that the seed is going to grow more and more. I love seeing that in the people. Well that is all that I have for this week and I will tell you all about the amazing things that are going to happen next week. I love you all and I hope this week is amazing. Also wow we are going to hit augusto this week. Crazy almost 1 year. Well yeah loves to all

This week was kind of long but once I start going it will just go flying. Well Elder Ojeda got transfered and Elder Licota has come to the area. I am still in Villa Hermosa but now just with a different companion. Really this week was super awesome and I thought it was going to be horrible. I dont think I give myself enough credit with directing an area. It stresses me out to control everything for the first couple weeks but I know everything will go super awesome. Well a little bit more about my companion. He is from Peru and he is almost done with his mission. haha When a missionary is ending a mission you will learn a lot of things. Good things and some other things.. haha but he is super awesome and I cant wait to work with him. I might be the one to kill him. hahaha that phrase means that I will be his companion until he leaves. Either way I believe I am going to learn a lot of things from him. Well I feel pretty good with the area and I feel like I know my area pretty good. My area is a little bigger than my other areas but that is fine. That just means there are more people to teach. Something that I love about directing an area is, it just gives me more confidence with the people and just being a missionary. I feel good right now and I feel like we are going to get some work done this transfer. Well this week we are teaching the wife of our pensions son. Her name is Yolanda and she is adventista. haha I dont know the word in english but she is adventista. She is really awesome and really is starting to believe that the church is true. Hyme the son of our pension really wants that we can help her realize the truth of the church. And so far she is doing really great. We put a date for her to be baptized and she came to church yesterday. Which is really great cause the church of the adventistas has their sabbath days every saturday. That was a really big step for her and through that she was showing her efforts to learn about the church and just everything. Yesterday was an amazing day. She is really interested in the plan of salvation. She wants to be together forever with her husband. It makes me feel so great that I am trying to help her accomplish that goal. I hope everything keeps on going like this and i will keep you updated next week. Well that is really all that I have for this week and really I am excited for this next week. We are going to the temple and I am so stoked. I will have to send some pictures of me in front of the temple again. But yeah that is all for this week and I hope your next week is amazing. I love you all and always remember that.

You never know what you will get each week in the mission but this week was pretty awesome. Actually this was the last week of the transfer and we are going to find out the transfers after this. Kind of nervous but yeah I will get over that. haha Well a lot of things happend once again. The biggest thing that happend was that we were able to see one of our converts go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. Something really awesome about our mission is that we have the temple in our mission. A lot of missionaries dont have the oppurtunity we have but we get to carry our converts to the temple and be witnesses for the baptisms for the dead. And wow was it amazing. The temple is so awesome inside and really I wish the temple was my house. haha But it was super cool to see our convert Natalie go to the temple and do this service for the dead. She got to do baptisms for the dead for her grandmother and aunts and also a member did baptisms for her grandpa and other people. Something happend in the temple that day. I felt the spirit so strong and something happend when natalie exited the font. She told us that when she exited the font she saw her grandparents sitting in the chairs and they were all smiling at her and she felt so much peace and comfort from that expirence. Wow that is kind of freaky but really awesome that they recieved their baptism.I know that through the temple we can help the testimonies of many converts. She is so happy right now and her testimony is growing each and every day. Woooo that was really amazing and I cant wait to do that again.

Another thing that happend or the thing I want to talk about is how much I love giving priesthood blessings. Every time I give one I always think of all the blessing I have recieved and just think how special it is that I get to help people with the power of God. Well this week we went to a house that had a man that was very sick. He couldnt stand and he was lied down in his bed. We decided to give him a blessing and really when I gave him the blessing something rushed through my body and through my heart. I love that feeling and when I was blessing I felt like he was recieving comfort and also health. I hope he gets better. I know that he will get better someday if he trusts in God and also the power of God. I love giving blessings and really I am so happy that I have the priesthood. The spirit I feel every time is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. It is so crazy that I can do so many things with the priesthood but I have to remember how sacred it is. I love it so much. Well that is really all that happend this week and I just love reading all of the letters that I get. If you guys have any questions for me, go ahead and ask me and dont be afraid to send me letters because I read them all and try to respond to all of them. Well I love you all and I will talk to you next week.

July 6, 2015

Yeah well this week was pretty darn sick. Ha Well this week we did so many things and I really cant tell all the stories I have because that would just fill up all the page. Well this week was really good to teach more and more of our investigators and our less actives. There were so many people that came to church also so that was pretty awesome. They all told us that they enjoyed the meeting and just they loved the whole thing. I really like how so many of these people are so humble and are searching for a peace in their lives. I really cant wait to see all of them progress and in time finally see them get baptized. Especially this 14 year old kid we are teaching. His name is Jharol. haha it is a little wierd but wow this kid is super awesome and really he is really trying hard to follow Christ. It was really cool when I got to see him come to church and he told me that he wanted to buy a book of mormon even though he didnt have a lot of money. I told him that I could give him one immediatly and popped the book of mormon that I had in my folder and gave it to him. Really there are so many smiles that you see everyday when you are a missionary but the smile I saw on his face was probably the best. He gave me a hug and said thanks. That was pretty awesome and I just love those moments I have with these people. Well there was another thing that happend this week. We are teaching a couple that arent married but they are really interested and want to be baptized. But they cant be baptized until they get married. So we start to teach the law of chastity and wow they were so acceptable to the message. Something that I really love to do is when I teach I relate the commandments and laws to our family. So in this lesson I shared how my mom and dad are married. Really sometimes the spirit just takes over and just leads me what to say. But I was explaining how my parents are the examples in my life because they have a love that is stronger than any other love I have seen in my life. I explained that through their example, I want to be married and have a love just like that. I think that the example of a parent is really important and if they show their love in front of their kids they will want to make the same decisions. It is so important the we get married in the temple and we show our examples to everyone. When I said that they told me that they wanted to get married as soon as posible and show their kids that is the right thing to do. They have 4 little girls and they told us that they want to be sister missionaries one day. haha that was pretty cool and really this family is going to be an eternal family one day. I love the gospel and I know that every principal and teaching are the right things that we should be doing. I am so grateful for your examples mom and dad and really your examples are helping people here in Peru live the gospel every day. That is so special and I love telling the people about my eternal family. Well that was all that happend this week and I hope this next week is amazing for everyone. Love you all forever
